Enough of being seen as the traditional beauty with the girl next door looks. It’s high time for a change and I just want to get stylish.

That could have been the thought echoing inside Sonam Kapoor’s mind for quite some time now.

And if any film maker is not coming forward to cast Sonam as she wish, there is always the dearest papa Anil Kapoor to relay on.

The senior lead actor of B-Town has decided to make his daughter’s desire come true by producing a movie titled as ‘Ayesha’.

The movie will be an Indian screen adaptation of the famous novel “Emma” written by Jane Austen.

It is heard that for a long time Sonam was having the urge to play a character modeled on the novel’s protagonist named Emma who is rich, easy going and flamboyant.

Abhay Deol has been reportedly roped in for the project and a new actor named Arunodoy Singh is to play another male lead role.

While Abhay will be seen as a man who clandestinely loves and cares for the heroine, Arunodoy will give life to a role of a playful young man for whom the leading lady has a soft corner.

V.J Cyrus Sahukar will be come across as a man who wishes to marry Ayesha.

Anil Kapoor has given Devika Bhagat, the writer of ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ the task to rework on the foreign novel to make the necessary changes and make it apt for the tastes of the Indian audience.

‘Saawariya’ perished without a trace and ‘Delhi-6’ is limping at the box office.

Lets see if ‘Ayesha’ comes out as a film that will do justice to Sonam’s talent.
